Future Imperfect

Earth-9200 experiences a disastrous nuclear  war  wiping out most of the human race. At this time Hulk is captured by A.I.M and locked in a prison designed by Modok for 100 years. Finally escaping, Hulk, now with the intelligence of Bruce, makes his way back to the US. As he travels the states he is disgusted to see the damage that has been done to his home country. It isn't long until Hulk finds people living under Washington. He initially finds an entrance guarded by someone known as Machine Man, who leads the Hulk to the man in charge named Maestro. Surprisingly, the man who leads this group of survivors in non-other than Hercules, the Prince of Power!

Immediately, Hercules punches the Hulk to remind him of their days as sparring partners. It is then, Hulk meets with his old friend Rick Jones and is informed his fellow Avenger's interests are now limited to ruling the humans. After some convincing Hulk decides to help save the survivors from the clutches of Hercules' grip. Using what was left of the megacorporation Alchemax, Hulk creates the Dogs of War to battle against the forces of Hercules. After dealing with the War dogs himself Hercules takes the fight to the Hulk. With little effort Hercules defeats the Hulk, and ultimately lets Hulk live.

A number of years later, Hulk employs a U-foes member named Vapor. She was used to seduce Hercules to get close to him in order to poison, and kill him. Once she completed her mission, Hulk turned on Vapor, freezing her and

smashing her to little pieces. Now passed to the underworld, Hercules returns to the land of living, sent by Hades to enact revenge on the Hulk. Making good on his claim as the Prince of Power, Hercules defeats all those who challenge with ease. It's not until an old ally of Rick Jones who has uncovered a weapon built by Forge to destroy the Hulk is Hercules brought down. Narrowly escaping the weapons blast, the Hulk goes to confront Rick and his friends on their attempt to kill him, to find Rick had vanished.

After losing everything he cares about, and absorbing an extreme amount of radiation, Hulk is driven mad and adopts the persona of "Maestro." In a reality-hopping mess, the now Maestro is attacked by a mutant name Proteus. With help from the Exiles Maestro is able to prevent the attack form Proteus, but not without injury. Before fleeing to another world with a new host body, Proteus snaps Maestro's neck.

Years later a rebel group opposing Maestro uses Doctor Doom's time machine to bring Professor Hulk to this dystopian future. While Professor Hulk shows he his able to land some significant blows, it's all to easy for Maestro to defeat his younger self. Pretending to be more injured then he really was, Professor Hulk, launches an attack that results in sending Maestro the birthplace of the Hulk. at the exact moment the nuclear bomb is set off, Maestro appears right next to it ending his reign as "Maestro."

For a brief moment Maestro returns in a weakened state using the Destroyer in order to defeat the Hulk, but his plan is foiled and his body is last seen buried in a small rock-slide.
